Description

A New Kingdom limestone wall fragment. The front surface carved in sunken relief depicting a noble lady seated on a lion footed throne, wearing a double headdress, appearing to be from a banquet scene. She is surmounted by partial registers of hieroglyphs. The front surface with  areas of magnesium adhesion.

Ex T. McAllister Collection, United Kingdom 1970's Art Market, Acquired from him during the 1990's while he resided in Queensland.
