Description

A Han Dynasty wooden horse with polychrome pigments. Carved in seven sections, the head, body legs and tail. All socketed together using dowels. The face with a wide open expression showing the teeth. The original polychrome pigments still vibrant.

 Some muting of the pigments, with minor ancient losses, and re-joined using some modern dowels. Presented on a perspex display base.
