An Indus Valley turquoise glazed faience bead seal of conical form with flattened top, the exterior surface with a complex meandering curvilinear design, the abstract forms possibly representing human figures and animals; the base of the bead exposes a central core of azure coloured glassy frit, the vitreous surface with superb pearly iridescence. The bead is perforated laterally at the top for suspension.
