Description

An Old Kingdom carved alabaster vessel. Resting on a flat circular foot, in tapering form to the upper flared rim. Two dummy handles adorn the outer edge. 

Origin:

 Old Kingdom, circa 2686 to 2181 B.C., Egypt.

Dimensions:

 Height: 14 cm / Top Diameter: 10.5 cm

Condition:

 Worn surface with a line fracture running down one side, and restoration on the base.
