Hadrosaur tooth fragment The Hadrosaurian (duckbilled) dinosaurs were most curious reptiles. They were herbivorous, aquatic reptiles which dominated the wetlands, swamps and estuaries of the late Cretaceous. Varieties in duckbilled dinosaurs are evidenced by the skull structures, with many of the animals known to have possessed ornate head crests.
