Description

An Egyptian red jasper rectangular inlay, most likely a section of a larger inlay. Depicting a Royal scribe seated between two Uraei. The uraei on the left wears the crown (Deshret) of Lower Egypt. The uraei on the right wears the crown (Hedjet) of Upper Egypt.

Late Period Circa 525 - 332 B.C., Egypt
