Description
A fragmentary limestone figure depicting noble figure seated on a square throne. On both of the flat surfaces are registers of hieroglyphs. On the reverse a carved depiction of a youthful male wearing the "Horus Lock" surmounted by an image of the dwarf god Bes. In his right hand he holds a prisoner wearing a feathered headdress. Below the feet a crocodile above a partial register of text. Ex T. McAllister Collection, United Kingdom 1970's Art Market, Acquired from him during the 1990's while he resided in Queensland. |
